A Whirlwind Tour
OK, you can stop calling Ticketmaster. My book tour dates have been set. It’ll be a whirlwind two-city tour. In addition to the Twins game signing, here’s the schedule:
• 3 p.m., Saturday, April 5, River City Books, reading and signing. Books are and will be on sale for 20 percent off through the event.
• 7 p.m., Thursday, April 10, Monkey See-Monkey Read, reading and signing. Books are and will be on sale for 20 percent off through the event. Refreshments will be served. Cookies. Yum.
• 6 p.m., Saturday, April 12, Magers & Quinn. This joint appearance will include Dan Levitt, author of Ed Barrow, and Peter Schilling, author of The End of Baseball. I’m told ballpark food and drink may be served. Though ballpark prices will not be charged.
These events are free and open to all. You’re not even required to purchase a copy, though if you do you will make my mother happy. Thanks to Jon Lee at River City, Jerry Bilek at Monkey See, and David Unowsky at M&Q for the opportunities.
Not sure whether there will be additional appearances after these or not. Nothing in the offing. If anything else materializes I won’t keep the news a secret.
