Don’t Forget Dad

Father’s Day is coming up! This year I have had that date mentally marked for months. Most years I have to be reminded by the thoughtful person in my marriage. I still don’t know what I am getting my dad but I have good idea (if I don’t say so myself) what you should get for yours: a signed copy of “Chief Bender’s Burden.” Aside from catching me at an event — I’m doing two signings the week before Father’s Day — there are several ways to purchase signed copies: Monkey See-Monkey Read has them on sale, in-store and online, for 20 percent off through the holiday; River City Books has a few remaining as of this writing; the Borders in Roseville had a handful as of two weeks ago; and they are available for purchase directly through yours truly using Paypal. (Just so I don’t disappoint your dad, in order for me to ship in time, I would need an order right-quick.) Hey, if nothing else, it’s better than another tie.

This isn’t criticism Barry, merely observation: it depends on the size of the dog.
