Name Game, Part I
Question: Is that your name or did you make it up to sound more like a serious writer?
Answer: My real name is Boris Schimanski and my friends call me BS for short. Actually, that’s not true. They call me BS for another reason. In truth, my name generates a fair number of reactions when people first meet me (usually, the older the person the more pronounced the reaction). I will likely bore you with some of the others down the road. In the meantime, the short answer is that, yes, the birth certificate verifies the use of Tom Swift. But it’s OK if you don’t believe me.
